buying a used

I have a 98 s70 with 185k on it... I was think about getting a volvo
s80 99-2004,, a mechanic told me that s80 are known for blown head
gaskets. Is that true?

no...find a volvo mechanic and have your s80 checked out
by someone who knows volvos.....it will be well worth the
$$, as repairs and parts can be very expensive.......
