96 850 won't start hot

Hey, new to the forum...I have a 1996 850 turbo that won't start when it is hot..will fire up on the first turn of the key when it is cold and purr like a kitten when running, but if I shut it off after it has run for awhile and try to restart...it just cranks over and over and will not fire. After about 45 min. it will fire up and run great??? It has roughly 225000 miles on the clock. Any suggestions ? Thanx Steve
