The other night, I was driving home trying to figure out how to use the manual shifting. (Sounds stupid, but I love driving a stick and almost bought an Acura over my Volvo bc it was a manual.) Was approaching a light and my brain went into manual mode: pushing imaginary clutch, trying to downshift, more panic, coasting through intersection, pushed the shifter forward inTO REVERSE then PARK?!??!?! Loud ticking noise -----O so quickly shifted into drive again and slowly eased on the gas. Car is driving fine, but I'm terrified I did major damage. Haven't mentioned it to the significant other. I've had my baby (2009 S60 2.5T) less than a month. Oh what have I done? ! ?
