Fuel Filter Replacement in V70

Any advice on the frequency of fuel filter replacement in the V70? My 2007 has 45,000 miles, and I am wondering whether it is due (don't even see the filter mentioned in the owner's manual).

I had a peculiar episode last week in which the car just stalled while I was coasting downhill on a snowy road. The motor kept running, and after pulling to the side, I started off again and the problem has not recurred. I thought about a clogged fuel line for some reason.
