How to turn off service light?

    I have read that there is a lever behind the speedo to reset this lite at 5000 miles/kms. Not on this 240 of mine. I have also read that there can be a reset button on the right hand side, bottom on the front of of the instrument cluster, and that pushing it in will reset the service lite. I have that reset button, and try to use it for the reset, but it makes no difference. Even with key at position 2, no key in, and engine running. This lite must go off! Please help with some suggestions. Thank you very much I hate this lite.
