Need Advice on buying a part for a volvo 144

    I need to replace the ignition lock mounted on the column of our 1969 Volvo 144. I have located a used one that can be
    removed (complete assembly) from a 1974 Volvo 140. Can I expect this part to be compatible with our 1969 144?
