I looked on Chilton web site and that was no help. I have purchased remanufactured starter from J.C.Whitney. Volvo dealer quoted 0.00 to replace including new starter. I am an experienced amateur mechanic including sport car road racing work at Daytona, Sebring, and Watkins Glen. My problem is car starts fine 95% of the time, but 5% of the time will not respond to ignition key. Low volume click sound is heard. Same post was made in 2006 by "Dave" with no response. Any response by someone who has removed and re-installed starter would be appreciated.
