94 Volvo 850 driver seat stuck reclined

My 94 850 wagon's power driver seat is stuck in full recline. I can hear the motor running, but nothing is happening.

I have the same issue : any suggestion to solve? Thanks

Yes -- I had same the problem, exactly as described. Went to salvage yard and got a replacement. It is a very easy remove and replace job. Four bolts anchor the seat to the floor. The only tricky part is removing the seat belt to get the old seat out, and reattaching it with new seat in, and that's not even that tricky, just take good care.

TIP: when you go get to the yard to get the replacement, pay attention to how you take things apart so you'll know how to do the same on your own car when you get home.
