940 cd player

Hi

Does anyone have any advice? I have a 94 940 2 litre turbo, and am having problems with the cd player. It won't play cd's and reads a message E-2. Has anyone encountered this before, or knows how to sort it out. The code seems to be ok (as the radio works, and it will eject cd's), but that's about it.
