turn over problems

hi all just joined the forum after buying my 1st S60...2001 2.0 TS..

all going fine till i tried to start it up this morning...everything ok with the ignition but the engine just turns over and over without starting for around 15secs then starts but very reluctantly...once it is going no problems..got the RAC out to have a look and they changed the battery(like they always do ) and said it may be down to the starting motor or excessive flooding...

any ideals ....
