Hello all,

My high beams go up when I pull the switch, but then they come back down to
low beam. Any ideas I can check or should I just bring it to the Volvo
Place.....?? Thanks for any consideration

John

Is the headlight switch in the correct position the knob should be
pointing up not towards the drivers door on a left hand drive car if it
is in the correct position does the radio controls work / wipers work
/turn signals work ?? if these do not work then most likely the steering
wheel module has gone south & is not coming back post back & advise on
these questions that I asked so i may be able to assist you with the
correct diagnoses

Yes, this is almost cerytainly it - took me six months to work out why I
couldn't get high beam locked in on our v70. It's a silly system.

Don't know what those are. Apart from disabling/enabling the fixed high beam,
what else does the two headlamp settings do?

yea...make sure the headlights are "ON" and not just on
DLY status.....i fig the car may use different bulbs for
DLR vs. actual headlights....
