S80: door lock / window problems

I have a 2000 Volvo S80.

If I close or open the doors (remotely), sometimes the front-right door does
not react; but most of the times it works fine. It also happened a few times
for the front-left door. Same if I use the button inside the car to close or
open the doors.
The dealer replaced the lock but the problem remains.
It's become even worse: now the door opens immediately after I close it ...

Similar problem with the windows: sometimes a window simply doesn't open or
close. E.g., it works with the left-door button but not with the right-door
button. After 10 minutes it may be the other way around.

Are these issues related? Or what could this be? Your answer is appreciated!

I had the exact same problem on a 2000 S60 and was told by a Volvo mechanic
that it was solved in a software update. Can't vouch whether this is true
as I had to give up the company car shortly after.
On my current 2003 S60 I've not experienced this problem at all.

My brother has a 2002 T6. The lock on the right front door would often
unlock immediately after being locked. His problem was fixed with a new
lock under warranty, and so far hasn't reappeared. Your problem sound
like it may be software related - sometimes just allowing the computer
to reset (remove the fuse for it if you can find it, or just disconnect
the battery (have your radio code handy!) for a few minutes.
