Does anybody know how i can extinguish the service light indicator
after having a service without visiting a main dealer?

Also, how do i remove the panel underneath the radio in order to
replace the lamps on the centre console?

(on a volvo s80)
thanks

Press and hold the odometer reset button.
Turn ignition on.
Wait until the service lamp flashes (approx 10-15 sec).
Release the odo button, tun off ingn. and start the engine.

This will not work on all S80's

To remove panel:
Remove the small panel in front of the gear selector, under the climate
panel, by bending gently with a screwdriver. Now you can see two bolts,
unscrew those. Now take a grip of the climate panel from the underside, and
pull out and up. It's attached with hooks (they allways breaks during this
operation). Release the contacts. Now you should have the CCM in your hand.
