I have a 1989 Volvo Gl now due to the fact that my modified Mustang got
stolen. Of course there is an INTENSE difference in power.

What modifications should I complete on the car to increase its power and
performance at the gas pedal?

can you do underpullies?
Denscharger / cold air induction?
Change to dual exhaust?

What's up with these 89 volvo's for power mods. All suggestions come with a
return in a big thank you!

Drop a Mustang V8 into it.... I hear they almost drop right in (with only a
few little mods)... There was an article in the Toronto Star newspaper maybe
a year ago about people who have done it, and where to get the kits to do
the mods to the engine mounts... apparantly 740's and 240's have big engine
bays for the engines they currently have, and the V8's fit into them quite
well.
