Has any run into an oil leak from the intake camshaft variable timing
pulley? Is this repairable or does the pulley need to be replaced?
Does not look like a leaking cam seal. Only leaks on cold starup.

Thanks for any help

There is a replaceable seal, but there is a variety of special tools
needed to set up the camshaft correctly - not a job for anyone without
the factory manual and these tools.

Replace tt with t (twice!) and remove parentheses to email me directly.
(But I check the newsgroup more often than this email address.)

If you can please tell me what the special tools are and where to get
them and needed information without having to buy a small fortune for
information for one job ?

Thanks Much

"*-344-*Never Forgotten"
Is for the New York City Firemen who lost their lives on September 11,2001.
The official count is 343, but there was also a volunteer who lost his life
aiding in the initial rescue efforts. And I will never forget them as
long as I live,
nor should any American.
