SO i just got my XC90 2.5 T5 back from the mechanic, I had the head gasket replace and also the oil cooler replaced and got my coolant system pressure flushed (not cheap) but I am looking to find out if there are any other areas where oil can enter the coolant, there is no coolant in the oil. dealerships are unwilling to help unless I take it in and they can charge me hundreds of dollars just to look at it.

You can also the heater/cooler hoses for leaks. Sometimes, the o-ring gasket in oil pipe joint is the culprit.
