I have a '87 745t that has been lowered using IPD springs and has
Bilsteins. I have replaced the front bushings with urethane. I have also
replaced the front wheels and tires and had the car aligned. When I am
driving 60 - 75 mph and turn left I get a strong vibration that appears
to come from the left front. Turning right is fine. Faster or slower the
vibration is not noticeable. I thought it might be the front wheel
bearing. I did not feel any play when I jacked the car up and grabbed
the wheel. Since I have the updated hubs the dealer wanted $150 for the
wheel bearings. I picked up two sets from a wrecking yard. After
installing the replacement hub the vibration went away for about 600
miles. Now it is back. The spindle looked ok when I replaced the hub.
Should I put the other hub on an cross my fingers or is there something
else to check.
Thanks
