850 Cuts out like fuel starvation - then will restart within mins

    Hi Guys,
    I'm hope a genius is lurking out there in webland.
    I've got a 1993 850 2l. We love the old beast but she's acting the goat.
    The car will drive without fault and pulling like a train, this can go on for days, then without any notice, splutters and dies. Leave a minute or two, hey presto, she's off again.
    I checked the codes and have 212 from A2, which I think is the o2 sensor in the exhaust, could this be it? I have my doubts as it was changed not 6 months ago, can anything else trigger the code? and any ideas if it would make it stall, then restart?

    My 850 do not start with the ignition switch but when pushed it start the engine to run. It started because the ignition key hooked l could not remove or turn it. Later try to force it to turn but will not turn the engine.
