How does one locate the flame arrestor?

Thanks,

Marvin
Look beneath the number three intake runner and locate a black plastic
box. That is the oil separator. Locate the nipple pointing straight up
off the box. Attached to this nipple is either a piece of hose that
extends to the level of the fuel rail and holds the flame trap assembly
or an adapter nipple connected directly to the oil separator that holds
the flame trap assembly.

And once you find it, IPD sells a kit to relocate the flame trap to a
location that's easier to reach.

Thanks for the information, but what and where is the number three
intake runner? Can I find the trap by looking under the hood or do I
have to look under the car for it? Please excuse my lack of knowledge,
but I have looked for the black box and don't seem to see it.

Thanks,

Marvin

The intake manifold is on the engine, if you look at it from the front it's
the aluminum pipe structure on the right side of the cylinder head, and each
of the four pipes is called a runner. You get to the flame trap from above,
in it's original location you need somewhat small flexible hands though.
