89 240 - testing cold start injector?

does anyone know the resistance of the cold start injector if it is working...75% sure it is faulty... i have checked voltage at plug on harness and i am showing voltage. i am showing 11.7 ohms on cold start injector that has been removed. I know that the way to check this is to leave it connected but removed from intake, but hey, why do things the easy way? cannot find specs. Any help appreciated...

Even if the voltage is correct the injector is a mechanical injector. So it can fail mechanically. I'll see if my book has voltage spec. But fail proof way is to pull it. Put it in a glass jar. Start motor and see if it squirts. Mine has a THERMAL TIME SWITCH as well. It tells the injector when to squirt and for how long based on the temperature of the engine. Good luck.
