90 740 gle power steering

Hi,


small issue with the power steering on the car, first thing in the morning
there seems to be no assistance with right hand turns, left is fine.

After a few corners its back to normal but its a real struggle until it
comes good.

Seals by any chance? or worse?

Any ideas appreciated.

That would be a good answer to your problem, Peter. Just as a precaution does
the fluid smell burnt and is it's colour very dark? If so then it would probably
be quicker to fit a refurbished steering rack and replace the fluid.

Thanks for the replies, the fluid looks feels and smells like new and there
are no leaks.
Was sort of expecting a leak somewhere if the seals are not doing their job
or are they just internal?
