    I have a 91 940 Turbo. A few days ago, I noticed engine hesitation
coming up a hill. I noticed the fuel gauge was sitting on empty and
suspected that I was running out of gas. Last night, with a half full
tank, the same thing happened, only much worse. The car starts fine,
but idles very roughly. The engine will not rev above 3,000 rpm in
neutral beore cutting out. The car will not move faster than 5-10 mph.
Luckily, the nearest repair shop is mostly downhill! I hate to turn the
car over to a mechanic without having some idea of what might be going
on. Suggestions? Many thanks! Post here or email to
    jmoche(at)jmoche.com.
