I finally got around to going to get the 850 I bought, but after
installing the new battery, I get no crank. They drove the car in to
park it about 4 months ago, so I'm thinking it's just a dirty
    connection somewhere.
    Any ideas, anybody?
I didn't have a meter with me, and I was alone, so could do very little
in the way of on site troubleshooting.
Starter relay, maybe? Where is it? I couldn't even try to hot wire the
starter, as I went there straight from work, and was severely lacking
    in tools and equipment.
The rest of the electrical seems to be functional, ie the seats run,
the windows work, etc, just no response to the key. I tried ratcheting
the shifter between P~N, thinking maybe a neutral safety switch, but no
    such luck.
    My thanks in advance:
    Jeff
