96 Volvo 850, Can I program remote entry to unlock all doors with 1 press of the unlock button?

    Can I program remote entry to unlock all doors with 1 press of the unlock
    button? Currently 1 press will unlock only the drivers door and 2 presses
    will unlock all doors. There must be a way to do this because I once test
    drove an 850 with this feature.

    I think that depends on the system fitted to the car. 1996 was the
    first year they went to the 2 step unlocking, and as far as I know
    there's no simple way to change it to the older style.

    Yes, but you're not in North America where this 2-step function is
    considered a safety feature - the bad guys can't hide on the passenger
    side of your car and get in when you unlock all the doors with the
    remote.
