Can I program remote entry to unlock all doors with 1 press of the unlock
button? Currently 1 press will unlock only the drivers door and 2 presses
will unlock all doors. There must be a way to do this because I once test
drove an 850 with this feature.

Thanks

I think that depends on the system fitted to the car. 1996 was the
first year they went to the 2 step unlocking, and as far as I know
there's no simple way to change it to the older style.

My '96 has only one click. :)

Yes, but you're not in North America where this 2-step function is
considered a safety feature - the bad guys can't hide on the passenger
side of your car and get in when you unlock all the doors with the
remote.

The only ones over here that aren't bad guys all post on this newsgroup!

And only in this newsgroup. The bad guys are the ones who cross-post
that political crap into this newsgroup.

Right, what I should have said was, "The only ones over here that aren't
bad guys all post ABOUT VOLVOS on this newsgroup!"
