A friend has a 1997 Volvo 850 sedan. The fuel filler door broke off. He
has the door which normaly is held to the car body by plastic bracket.
How to remove that bracket from the body for replacement?

I've never done this on the 850, but generally these things are held on
with plastic rivets. There a pin in the center of the rivet that needs
to be pressed out to remove it. If you catch the pin, you can reuse the
rivet, but sometimes that's not possible.

Replace tt with t (twice!) and remove parentheses to email me directly.
(But I check the newsgroup more often than this email address.)
