Can someone please tell me what these wires go to?

    Thanks all for your help with my many posts. I am still double checking
    wires since my engine was re-installed.

    I need to please know if these wires are supposed to be connected to
    something.

    1987 740 GLE
    B230F

    HEre is another small 2-prong connector I don't know what for (between
    the 2 black bundles with a green/blue wire:

    They go to the cruise control vacuum pump. If you don't have cruise
    control they don't go to anything. On some of the the arly cruise
    control kits they were extraneous wires in the harness. You ran a new
    separate harness during installation.

    The single connector in the other socket allows one to connect a remote
    starter switch so that you can activate the starter at will in order to
    turn the motor for diagnostic and maintenance procedures without having
    to reach inside the car to turn the key. Sweet feature on a Volvo,
    rarely found on other cars.
