Can you swap...?

The passenger seat onto the drivers side on a 240? My drivers seat is
totally knackered and seeing as a passenger seat is optional I could swap
them round and leave the passenger seat out for the MOT.

Any ideas?

Yes but the knobs will be on the wrong side so you won't be able to easily
adjust the seat back. Can't you find a decent used seat at a wrecker? These
seats are pretty easy to tear apart and rebuild too, usually the springs
fall off and then you sink into a pit.

The seat coushions are interchangable but the frames are not.
