Electric windows control panel change

  1. Hello all again. I have another anoyance and it is that the button on my
drivers door windows control panel that works the passenger seat window has
been loose for a while and now keeps on falling out. Also, even when I out
the button back in, It does not operate the window at all. Could there be a
problem with the button itself, is it not making a proper 'circuit'? Or does
the whole control panel need replacing? If so, is this anything I can do
myself or is it a main dealer/specialist mechanic job?

stop by your local Volvo dealer & purchase the
replacement switch just pops out no special tool
    required

  3. I think it is wear and tear on the sockets on the control panel itself that
the button 'pops' into rather than the button itself. How easy is the panel
to replace? Or is this a no go area?

The panel is just a press fit use a small flat blade
screwdriver to very gently pry it up from a corner once
you get it started it will come out very easy then you
    can attempt to repair
