engine swap question

    can i swap out a block and head from a 1988 230F for a 1983 B23 ?

    The only problem is the B23 has no provision for the distributor on the
    back of the head. If this is going into a 240 then that's not a
    problem. If it's for a 740 then you'll need a different distributor.
