External temp read out 760

    If you have a 760 V6 GLE of about 87/88 and you have an external air
    temperature gauge [bottom left hand corner of the dashboard under the fuel
    gauge] with lcd type display......... does it light up with the panel
    lights, I thought mine did once but perhaps not?
    I know you get a nice red led at 2degC and below but being able to read it
    at night would be nice.
    Not show in my Haynes manual needless to say.

    It probably has a burned out bulb, remove the cluster and have a look,
    it's only two screws. They're hidden under the covers around the clock
    set and dimmer knobs.
