Help with vin number

    Hi, can someone please help me to properly identify my engine? I have a 1994 940 Turbo. Everything I have read so far tells me my engine is a B230FT, however, the engine code in my vin number is 86, which identifies with the B23ET,which i have not been able to find in any 940 model. Can someone please clarify this problem? Thanks.
