I have a 1991 VOLVO 940 SE wagon.
The forth digit of its VIN is letter 'K'. 'K' stands for model '960'. My registration and all other information plates represents that my model Volvo is a '940', not a '960'.
Questions:
1. Can anyone explain this?
2. How does this model identification discrepancy affect ordering with accuracy replacement parts? For example, rear shocks and calipers.
