Oil change capacity Volvo 240 wagon

I have misplaced my Volvo manuals, is it 4 quarts with replacement of the oil
filter? Last time I paid someone to do it.

his head and mumbled,

I think the engines for this era were all the same except those with a
turbocharger.I was hoping to here either 4 or 5 quarts but I can put 4 in, run
it, and check the level

4 qts puts the level at just below the half quart low mark on the
dipstick. 4.5 qts puts the level right at the full mark.
