Hi. Anyone have any experience good or bad on this car? I live in a place
with snow 5 months of the year, and temps easily -15 to -20C during winter
and it seems like a good choice. I would also like to hear from owners with
experience with the different options of integrated sound systems. Is it
    worth a upgrade?

(Considering to jump of the VW Passat to Volvo)

    Thanks.

Bought a 2004 xc70 in September. I am very pleased with the car. We
are in the midst of a stretch of cold snowy weather (nighttime temps
-20F) and the xc70 has performed admirably. I was not content with
the performance of the original tires in snow, so I put on four
Blizzaks which I think make the difference between a good snow car and
a great snow car. I of course cannot comment on the long term
reliability as I am just approaching the first service interval.
