    Hi guys,

I've got 4 door speakers (1 in each door) as well as a pair of hat-shelf
speakers in my 740. The hat-shelf speakers are connected in parallel to the
rear door speakers, and all 6 speakers are currently powered by a 4 x 40W
    amp.

Anyway I'm planning to add a separate amp to power the hat-shelf speakers,
with a fader control to adjust the output balance between rear door speakers
and hat shelf speakers. I need to know which wires on the DIN cable that
runs from radio to amp are for what, so I can connect the fader switch to
the appropriate wires. Has anyone ever tried this?
