In my rented house, my old Volvo 240 leaked engine oil onto the drive. I'll
lose my deposit if I cant lift the oil from the tar, does anyone know any
tips? Any at all will be appreciated.

How big of a driveway, and how big of a deposit?

    1) Soak the spot with a bit of kerosene and scrub immediately.
    2) Immediately pressure wash the driveway
    3) recoat the oil spot with the brush-on asphalt sealer. Let dry.
    4) Recoat entire driveway.

This works sometimes...spread kitty litter over the spot and then use a soda,
Coca Cola or some other, and pour it over the kitty litter, let set over night
    then sweep up.
It may work better over cement, but its worth a try.

I know WD-40 works on oil spilled on concrete...probably not on
asphault though, since asphault is petroleum based...

    Good luck!
