Anyone have a good recommendation for an online parts dealer. I need
to replace the fan assebmbly on a 2000 Volvo S80 T6, and it is $300 at
the dealer, and local parts stores won't special order it.

    Thanks!

http://www.fcpgroton.com/ is one I have used with good success.

http://www.alloemvolvoparts.com/ is another I've had good luck with.

I swear by (but not at, which is the important thing) SwedishEngineering.com.
Haven't failed me yet, and always the lowest prices.

  6. I second IPD in Portland, OR. Forty years of Volvo parts and performance
    upgrade options.

I think ipdusa.com is way, way too expensive. They consistently have far
higher prices than any other Volvo parts dealer I've tried.

Any of the vendors listed on http://www.vclassics.com/suppliers.htm are good, imho.
Also have had really good luck (for used parts mainly) with voluparts.com. If you
know what you want, they'll ship it.

    also: http://www.ipdusa.com/
I have done business with IPD and the service was always good. However, for
maintenance parts I can almost always find the same or better quality
    elsewhere at a lower price.

I have used all of the sites recommended above and have found them all to be
    good sources.

If I may suggest a couple more:

RPR is an excellent company: http://www.rprusa.com/
    All Volvo Parts: http://www.allvolvoparts.com/
Borton Volvo, a dealer that specializes in mail order parts and IIRC, offers
VCOA members a 10% discount on parts: http://www.borton.com/

    a good discount.
