My CD player is not working properly and I wanted to get to it. Does anyone
know where to start to remove it?
Thanks,
Kent

the dealer or a good volvo / radio shop....
i myself, wouldn't go "digging" through
an s80's electrical components / system,
unless your good and know what you are doing....

my $.02.....

I have removed mine a few times, each time the service light needed to get
reset.. just FYI.

You can prevent the service light from coming on if you leave the
ignition off throughout the entire process. (Removal and
re-installation) - It's the Climate Control Unit removal that causes
the system to freak out. As long as the car never knows you took it
apart it will never get upset. (wow... who knows the $3 word for giving
human characteristics to inanimate objects.. this is only a test...)

Do not ascribe human emotions to cars. They hate that.

That is one AWESOME site, honest, to the point, and very informative.
