I have a 1998 S70 with a radio that is "CD Changer Ready". I wanted to
add a changer. When I pull the radio from the dash, does it come out
far enough where I don't have to disconnect the wiring harness and
connect the changer? I don't want to lose power to the radio and
re-enter the code if I don't have to. Thanks.

Yes. There are handles on either side that you push in to pop out, and then
you can simpley pull the radio unit out. On mine, which I've pulled out to
reset the CD unit, there is enough wire in back to allow me to set it by the
shifter to work on it without having to disconnect the power lead (although
if you do disconnect it, re-entering the radio code is no big deal if you
    have it...)
