S80 Message - "Brake Assist Service Required"

Has anyone received this message or does anyone out there know exactly
    what it means?

I had the brake pads replaced recently, now just a feeks later, I am
receiving this message. I'm wondering if anything was supposed to have
been "reset" after replacing the pads.

    Thanks in advance!

The message being on and brake work does not have anything in common.
The dealership nees to read the codes for the brake system.
There is a pedal position sensor located on the front side of the booster
    that likes to fail alot.
Some brake boosters have failed, not to where you could not not stop.
The booster would develope a small vacuum leak.

The codes need read and go from there.
