Sc-810 audio problems

I have rather poor reception from my sc-810 radio at the moment.. what also has happened, is that the rear speakers now make a humming sound. Sometimes they turn on, but once the car gets hot the speakers make a humming sound. I can't see spending $350 for a new radio.

Any suggestions?
