Tire speed rating

We purchased new tires about a year and a half ago at Wheelworks. One tire has excessive wear on the outside edge probably due to poor alignment. When I called the store to look into buying two new ones they said the speed rating on the ones currently in use are "T" and should be rated "h", they offered to replace all four for a discount.
If the store incorrectly sold us tires with the wrong speed rating, why should we have to pay to replace. Internet sources say that"T" rated tires are good up to 118 mph. The recommended "h" rated tires are good up to 141 mph. What difference does any of this make if we average 60 - 70 on the highway?
