    Hi

    UK 1998 (R) Volvo V40 1731cc
    Non a/c

My heater blower just stopped working. I have checked the fuses and relays
and all are ok. The motor works as I put 12v directly across it. I took the
switch out to test and that seems to work. There is a good earth and I get
12v everywhere I believe I should. I have replaced the heater resistor as
    the old one had perished.
When I took the blower switch out to check it there were two cables on the
connector that are not listed in my Haynes manual, an orange/blue and an
orange/grey. I do not know what they are for, could these be the problem?
Another thing that happened is that the hazard warning lights now do not
operate, but all of the individual indicators are fine.
Help me as I am running out of ideas???

    Many Thanks

    Andy
