Need to replace a burned out bulb that lights the air flow control
buttons and portions of the temperature control knobs on the heating,
ventilation and air conditiioning (HVAC) electronic climate control
(ECC) panel. Carefully popping up the gearshift surround exposed two
screws that fasten the bottom of the ECC panel. Removing the two
screws freed up the bottom of the panel from the bottom of the
instruments tower. However, the top of the panel appears to be
secured somehow underneath the sound system controls panel. Feels
like maybe a spring clip holds it, but not sure. Found no other
screws so far. I carefully started pulling the ECC panel to separate
it from the sound system controls panel, but after about 1/4 inch of
movement met greater resistance. Don't want to break anything.
Anyone no how I can finish removing the ECC panel and get to the
burned out bulb?
