XC70 Hood open info message

Our Xv70 displays a hood open error whether the hood is open it not. Already paid hundreds to replace the sensor. Now saying the cable needs replacing. Anyone have this experience?

Ours was doing the same thing. I adjusted the hood "BUMPERS" down a touch it seems to have worked so far...
