.020 crank (main engine) bearings impossible to find

  1. B230F 8-valve .020 main engine bearings are non-existent, according to
FCP Groton. I checked IPD, and a dozen other stores. Looks like I may
have to go to the dealer and pay $167.

If anyone knows of another place, that would be great. I have checked
every part store I could Google online and most all use the same
    distributor.

    Hey Jamie - try this place - <http://www.swedishparts.net> - I think
    they may have them.

    Good luck!

  3. Thanks, I checked but they only show standard size. We are checking
with the machine shop to see if we need twice oversize (.020) for both
the rod and crank. If only the rod then I am in business and can go
    with the smaller bearing (.010).

    Thanks again.

  4. Looks like German Auto Parts in Florida www.germanparts.com had the
bearings. Still, $113 for the set was not fun!

  5. Time and beer will help that, too ;-)
