I never use the overdrive. During winter it came on and hasn't come off. I did notice that when I turn on my heater and I run the car, if I click the O/D the light will turn back off but sometimes the car will turn back on into O/D . It has been on for the past 3 months and I have not tried the Heater method anymore since it is 110+ degrees outside now. Will the over drive being on 24/7 when running the car affect my engine or cause damages with time?
