1986 240 warning lights

    Hi all,
    I was trying to diagnose a charging issue with my 1986 240. The alternator wasn't charging. None of the warning light go on in position two or when the car is running so the charging is obviously related to the alt light. Any tips on diagnosing what is causing this would be appreciated.
