1986 740 gle poor mileage like 12 mpg

    i have been getting poor milage ever since i bought the car i have checked
    for vacumm leaks cant hear or see any and i the amm is working properly i
    just need some suggestions because i do alot of driving please i need some
    suggestions the gas price is emptying my pockets
