hi -

my old analog clock works just fine, but the knob on the left side
of the instrument cluster that's used to adjust the time has
recently ceased to function.

i've adjusted many times before so i know it used to work. is this
something i can fix? (or am i destined to leave the battery
disconnected every time - until the correct time rolls around
again?)

thanks a lot.

The instrument cluster is very easy to take out and do some troubleshooting.

1. Bend away the small panels around the two knobs, dim and clock, with your
nails, a small knife, or something.

2. Unscrew the screws that will appear.

3. Pull the whole cluster out.

4. Release the connectors at the back of the cluster.

Then all you need to do is inspect the knob axle, the mechanism to see
what's wrong.

And if you can't fix the clock, I'm pretty sure I have a spare one I could
send you for a very reasonable price.
